The Imperial Solarian Calendar also known as the Solarian Calendar, proposed by Melevor Cestar II in 659 AE to the Imperial Council of the Holy Solarian Empire and the Ecclesiarchat of the Solar Ecclesiarchy of Erses is one of the world's first organised calendars and dating systems.
The calendar is the most widely used dating system around the world due to it's immediate adoption by the Holy Solarian Empire, the world's largest and most populous nation.
The average calendar year 365.2425 days long, more closely approximating the 365.2422-day 'tropical' or 'solar' year that is determined by Terra's revolution around the Sun.
