The Southern Union was a nation founded by the cities of Fort Roberts and Hanau, with Fort Roberts as the acting capital until the government's dissolution on July 19th.
History
Originally established on July 13th, 2021, the Southern Union rapidly grew to become one of the largest nations in Alathra.
The nation was founded on the same day as the foundation of the city of Hanau, with Hat_Crab as the self-declared Emperor the Union.
On July 19th, 2021, the cities of Hanau and Haven engaged in a political coup to force the self-proclaimed Emperor, Hat_Crab to give up his power to an assembly of representatives from all cities in the Union. Following these events, the nation's new leadership established the Interim Assembly and would work towards rebranding the nation by changing its flag and name.
