Blackthorn's self-appointed leader, Emilia Rivers, would claim leadership of the entire commonwealth, denying Khirom autonomy to have self-governance, or even to call itself Kyriska. Emilia's reign would prove unstable, and she was far too authoritarian for some of her people. She denied the rights of the Prince, declaring him the leader of the Kyriskan Culture, nothing more, no political power, not even ceremonial power. The word Kyriskan, she would make synonymous with "Dead." Her reign would be challenged twice, once unsuccessful once successful. The First Kyriskan rebellion would be against the tyranny of Emilia Rivers, and her constant gutting of authority positions, other than her own. Under the spirit of rage, Waylin Vartilian would move to defend his territory, causing the Blackthornian diplomat to flee, he was then swiftly wounded himself, as Blackthorn gave him no quarter and no mercy. Fort Khirom would rejoin the Commonwealth, and the Prince would have almost no authority, left out of decision after decision, and Khirom would be restricted and restricted. A plot was brewing, and it would soon come to fruition. A full rebellion would happen, led by Babba, and later by Vartilian himself, Khirom would secede from the Commonwealth without bloodshed, and the Blackthornians would have a tantrum about losing what they saw as their property. The Faewood would join this new Kyriska, and later New Pangolias would join as well. The Commonwealth of Blackthorn would implode, leaving only Zethortal as the sole Commonwealth territory.
