When Lucran left his home, the peoples of the Midnight Isles were in a brutal struggle for control of the Seas. It is during this time that Lucran learned that the hands of the gods must stop at the shore. He found his crewmates treated like slaves at the end of the whips of brutal cambion's, and when fighting came the captains would place themselves as far from harm as possible. During this time Lucran saw death, though it was not until the Battle of Shallow Shade that he truly appreciated that the godless and unforgiving seas hid much wrath. On the second hour of his watch Lucran spotted a enemy vessel sailing towards them, he alerted the crew and the ship sprung to life. In short order the ship was made to bear its teeth (WIP) |
