Vilqins Mapit Qofi (<small>Arcadian:</small> [ˈvil.kinz ˈmɐ.pit ˈkɔ.fi]; <small>Classical Terminan:</small> [ˈwɪl.kɪnz ˈma.pɪt ˈkɔɸiː]; born 2 Slime, -1 A.Z.) is an Arcadian polymath that is active as a political philosopher, metaphysician, physicist, moral philosopher, and ontologist. He is known for his work 'Qadiumo', in which he argues for absolutism, and 'Physcis', in which he argues that the Universe is composed of five indivisible elements.
Overview
Vilqins Qofi (Witrems) is an author and philosopher that was born in Kais Termina. He was raised to follow the Mufijo Faith, but he was always skeptical. He enjoys writing and has written too many books, almost all concerning every crevice of philosophy.

PersonalityPhilosophy
Vilqins Qofi is a very chatty man and has broken into someone's house to ask them a question regarding a carnal cult. He is also very knowledgeable of the other nations, their cultures, and their religions, for he loves travelling and has travelled Arith on his own small boat, and ended up just watching the construction of a government building.

Religious Beliefs
He was raised to follow the Mufijo Faith, but he ended up losing all faith when he read other religious texts like the Book of the Hole and the Codex Carnis. He realised that almost all religious texts have the same message and all have similar gods.

He calls himself an agnostic theist, for he believes that a deity or deities is necessary for the universe to have existed and that an afterlife is the only possible solution for souls free of their body, but he doesn't believe in any specific deity or deities, nor in any properties of them.

Political Beliefs
Qadiumo outlines his system of a perfect government, where one man controls all, because he believes that order is necessary to stay away from the state of nature, which separates us from the animals. He sees democracy as one step closer to becoming but another animal, for it is putting the hands of ruling into the hands of the unknowing populace which only has the goal for the most freedom, when that is against what they should want.

He doesn't support monarchies. This is because he sees them as giving unready rulers legitimacy. He proposes a dictatorship of the most fit, determined by the previous leader, and if a leader isn't the most fit, then it should be easy for them to be overthrown, resulting in the best fit being chosen.

WritingWritings
Qofi has written six books and is writing a seventh and an eighth. The reason why he is so interested in philosophy and books has puzzled him for his entire life. He has been to the library in Kais Kogong, the library in Kais Termina, and the Library.

Year 22 A.Z. Ethnologue
As said before, he has written six books. The first book he ever wrote was the 'Year 22 Ethnologue', which documents the ethnicities of Alathra. It is out of date, for multiple ethnicities, including the Tahalan people, have not been categorised and labelled.
In this ethnologue, he goes over the ethnicities of the World, their characteristics, location, language, and more. This ethnologue is severely outdated, as it doesn't have ethnicities such as the Tahalo.

Mind and Body
The second book he wrote is called 'Mind & Body', which goes over, as one might suspect, the mind and the body. It also talks about the Planes of Existence, soul sand and soul soil, and the interactions between the mind and body that make sentient life possible.
'Mind and Body' is a writing concerning the inner workings of the mind and what it is. He discusses how the Mind exists in the Ablaze Plane (Nether) and how minds, or souls, exist in soul sand and soul soil, and by destroying these soul-imbued materials, you are destroying the souls inside of them. He also briefly mentions his belief in the existence of the Material Plane (Overworld), Ablaze Plane (Nether), Outer Plane (End), and Astral Plane (Aether). He also discusses the body and how the mind, that exists in the Ablaze Plane, interacts with the body, that exists in the Material Plane, coming to the conclusion that the brain is able to communicate between planes, specially the Ablaze and Material, in order to allow the mind and the body to interact.

An excerpt reads:<blockquote>"The mind is a special thing. It is possible to rip out of the skull of any being, so it is material, But yet, it produces things that are immaterial; thoughts, emotions, feelings, sensations, and much more. So is the mind even material in the first place?
The third book he wrote is called 'Morality'. This book goes over Moral Objectivism, Moral Relativism, and Moral Subjectivism, and how he believes the Moral Subjectivism to be the most logical.

Is it possible that the mind and the brain arew two separate entities?
The fourth book he wrote is called 'Qadiumo', after the tentacle beast in the Sa Mufiǧoreon. This book goes over social contracts, both explicit and implicit. It also talks about "a state of nature", "all versus all", and what he believes to be needed, absolute control in the hands of a singular person.

Yes.
The fifth book he's written is called 'Physics'. This doesn't concern physical forces and universal laws, but rather the making of the universe. He believes all things to be made of 5 different elements, heat, earth, air, water, and aether.

The brain is but a cage for the mind. Once the brain is destroyed, the mind can either roam the World, or can go to the Aether to be judged."
The sixth book he has written is called 'The Course of Empire: An In-Depth Analysis of Imperialism and Empires'. The book analyses the general trend and stages of empires and a solution to the constant cycle of construction, destruction, and reconstruction. He believes the answer to this is a moneyless and classless society, but not lacking in hierarchy, with him still holding his beliefs of absolute control he talked about in Qadiumo.

'Mind and Body' by Vilqins M. Qofi</blockquote>
Also, fun fact, when writing the author of his books, he writes V. M. Qofi, as opposed to Vilqins Qofi. The reason he does this is unknown.
