Before Shil0 came to Akaria and settled the new nation there were very few people in the area, the land was desolate with abandoned fortresses in every direction nearby, however there were some remnants of a people know as the "Dederick" or as Shilo would come to call them, the "Stone Guard" shortened hereafter to the Stonegauld people. The Stonegualed or Dederick were people of the forest, they lived peacefully but heartily. They spoke Dederich and quickly learned Akarian. These people practiced the tactics of stone defense, with the facade of a crumbling castle but the reality of a fortress underneath. Akaria would begin to adapt their ways creating a sort of culture blend.
