Early Life

Environment

Lillian grew up in "The Green Carve" a valley and the largest settlement in Tempest Ridge (in the far west). The region is well known to be very unhospitable because of it's violent weather, savage beasts, malicious politics, and according to outsiders: it's people. Amber was a member of the native Tempuri race, a small group descendent from demons and imbued with magic, they share many goat-like features and ability to harness certain powers over nature.

Upbringing

Lillian was born to Salvo and Aercus on a autumn thunderstorm. She was named after her deceased aunt Amber, who was a scientist and the former leader of the Social Districts under Union; a now dissolved government. The Green Carve was still recovering from the collapse of the union and Lillian was thrown into a lot of political discourse and economic instability as she grew up. The culture shifted back to their more archaic roots, which was a very unforgiving and ruthless viewpoint of life, it would ask the Tempuri to push themselves as far as they could, and if they were weak? They are worthless and to be shunned. As she grew up in this environment she would prove to be quite successful, and get a sour outlook on those who couldn't compete, and a subtle dislike of jealousy to people that were better than her. One day she found some memorabilia of her aunt and would study her notes, learning about her projects and point of view. Amber was the first Tempuri to harness magic to alter souls, she wanted to "bring a new understanding of mortality" to the region. Although Lillian didn't agree with her aunts motives, she did seem very interested in her notes and other inventions.

Leaving the Green Carve

Lillian was doing well for herself for the most part, however she was starting to get burnt out which was unacceptable to her parents, as well as a lot of other mental health issues where coming up. As she was testing new magic and technology her parents started to learn that she was using her aunts science and condemned it immediately saying that it was unethical and would lead her to the same fate as Amber. Lillian however viewed it as a way to help people, as tensions rose she chose to run away on a ship and flee. It was a rash decision that she sometimes regrets but she fears that she wouldn't be able to make it back or allowed to go back because her fleeing would be considered weak.

Alathra

First steps

She first stepped foot on southern Gaushan, with only her clothes and some equipment, she wandered around until finally making a home in the sands of the New Anglian desert. Out of a desert temple she constructed her first home (-3045 / ~ / 1560) but this was only her temporary home, she planned to build a desert bridge city that would connect New Angelia and Gaushan. However this attracted a lot of attention mostly from from the people of Gaushan who were not happy with it, as well as an invite to go east and join Kais Okyanus (now Draknewt). Lillian abandoned the desert city build for now and moved east-ward.
