About The Hive
The Hive is a underground artifact location. The residents of it are called Wild Bees, a species of bee that is impervious to flame, consumes lava and gold, and cant be bred by unnatural means. The Hive was created by Zedd, a former admin who was one of many who helped sculpt and create the world we see today. Located underground, it resides on Western Moria, under a strip of marsh that sits in a giant desert.
History of The Hive
In the beginning The Hive was undisturbed, left to flourish in seclusion. One fateful day it was discovered by KnightOfNotch, who shared his findings with Shepsicle and ImmaNotScope. Together they kept The Hives existence a secret and tried to domesticate some which failed sadly. After the group left it a secret it had been found again by a man named Thaeorn. He spread word of the existence of The Hive which brought many a traveler to come and admire the sight.

Eventually, The Hive would find itself in the hands of a man named Ausgint. He had bought The Hive as he had heard killing the bees would drop ghast tears, knowing nothing more and being told he could destroy everything but the spawner. Ausgint would proceed to go on and farm the bees as if any normal creature, for to looks they were a never ending supply; However, he made a mistake and while clearing the hive broke a barrel that would later be learned would be the sole place where Concentrated Wild Bee Honey could be collected. The bees slowly became lobotomized and mostly immobile, the bees would soon become the future of all wild bees, and the first generation would become limited, endangered, and a dying breed.

The Hive thrived before any creature had learned of its existence. It was discovered and rehidden time and again by explorers, KnightOfNotch had discovered it first, then explorers Shepsicle and ImmaNotScope had gone and discovered The Hive aswell. Attempts were made to domesticate and farm the bees but learned taking them from the hive and interfering with them reduced the population. After a very evident failed attempt they decided to leave the hive be and keep it a secret, leaving the bees behind and not disturbing them again. They had found the substance of Concentrated Wild Bee Honey however were wiser then the first explorers and left the bees undisturbed for a time longer. It continued undisturbed until a pair of individuals, Thaeorn had found it and decided to announce its existence to the world. Shortly after he found and shared its existence he decided to renovate the area, however after a fair amount of time he decided to sell it. When the eventual new buyer of The Hive, Ausgint, came upon it, they were told nothing aside for the bees drop ghast tears and that they could destroy everything but the spawner; however, in a moment of miss information and the fatal end to the concentrated wild bee honey, the fabled barrel that would hold the wild honey was destroyed. Forever destroying the Concentrated Wild Bee Honey production. The server was in uproar, and a elf by the name of Dessious took great concern, Dessious and Ausgint attempted to restore and conserve the wild bee population. However it was once again sold and all efforts were destroyed. The Hive was hence fourth reduced to a minor fraction of its original power, no new wild bees that produce the wild honey have been made, and all the bees that spawn from the hive now lack any sense of action. The current wild bees that are far from the original generation now are lobotomized, they do not produce anything but the ghast tears it they give upon death.
Concentrated Wild Bee Honey & Wild Bees
The Concentrated Wild Bee Honey was the original creation of the wild bees. It had very strict and rigorous requirements to keep the bees alive and have them produce the honey. Some requirements were known, the most prominent being that no creature could even utter the name or talk about the wild bees. No matter where you were in the world it was as if they could hear their name in the earth and would refuse to work for months. There were other requirement, rumors such as the bees ate gold and drank lava, and any who dared to enter had to be purged of all disease or risk infecting the bees. The Concentrated Wild Bee Honey was collect in a specific barrel, aged and placed below the spawner, that was where the wild bees would store their special honey. The wild bees meandered aimlessly and would die if allowed to be exposed to the surface, however a notable fact about them was they were invulnerable to lava and any sort of flame. The wild bees never bred and made a child, further indicating all attempts to domesticate this race of bee will end in failure. The Concentrated Wild Bee Honey was said to turn any man immortal for a time, giving him strength and vigor enough to take down an army of men.
Knowledge on Remaining Original Wild Bees
The remaining original wild bees have been spread all through Alathra, it is well known though not brought up much that Ashina has wild bees, though no one is sure how many but them. Many others have been lost due to trading and kept as shelf items, split and spread merely to be a trophy and given to the rich to be forgotten about in time. Few attempts have been made by those with more then just a few wilds bees to create a pseudo hive. All attempts that are known have failed, virtually no one has been able to make a new hive and for all intents and purposes. Its pretty much confirmed that the only place the wild bees can survive outside is in their original hive, as all attempts have lead to death of any wild bee related to it. Any attempts at recreating or trying to find new Concentrated Wild Bee Honey has also come in failure. In the hives current state, and most likely forever in time, Wild Bee Honey will never be seen again except for what may have been cultivated before the destruction of the hive.
Attempts at Restoring The Hive
Though gone unheeded, the nations of Lethos and Ashina advised to conserve the wild bees in a attempt to restore The Hive, to stop destroying The Hive and to leave it be to thrive on its own. Alas, no one listened, many wild bees had died during attempts to remake the hive elsewhere and it was further reduced to what is now seen today. Had the advice been taken and restoration undergone perhaps wild bees would return and a chance at the fabled royal jelly. Now, with so few remaining, wild bees and their royal jelly are virtually extinct. Few attempts have been had at restoring The Hive but they have all fallen through due to miss management or The Hive once again trading hands and being sold.
