Template:Db
Db (short for "delete because") is a template used to mark articles for deletion.
Usage
- By placing
{{db|reason=reason}}at the top of a page, a deletion banner will appear with the specified reason in text. If no reason is given, the banner will display "no specified reason" to reflect that. - Using this template places the page into Category:Articles for deletion.
The following table contains reason keywords that automatically fill the banner with relevant information:
| Reason | Description |
|---|---|
| abandoned | For pages that have been left unfinished, containing little or no relevant information |
| author | For deletion requests initiated by the author, provided that they are the biggest contributor to the page |
| blank | For pages void of any information |
| scope | For pages that have content unrelated to Alathra |
| move | For articles that have been moved to a different page and where a redirect is not necessary |
