Voyagez

Voyagez is a town founded by Kongongi refugees fleeing reeducation at Aquendavia. It was founded by Haccer on June 6th, 2021. Voyagez was founded and named when its people converted their wooden canoes to houses after encountering fertile swampland.

History

After practicing their traditional hunter-gatherer lifestyles while traveling up the river in barkskin canoes, the Kogongi people found land they were able to sustainably harvest and live cohesively with. As the land entered Freeze, they broke down their boats to make rudimentary shelters and waited. When Bloom broke, it was discovered that the land and lake were able to continuously produce enough for the colony. This lead to further development of a society. Statues were built to commemorate the past. There was an assumption that they could not return and wouldn't know how to return if it was.

Culture

Voyagez has a mercantile culture that has lead to strong connections with many of the other small towns around the server. This lead to the Voyagez to rediscovering their ancestral homelands. Roots had been put down and Voyagez had its own culture but they joined Kogongu as they shared an ancestral past.

Conflict

After the separation of Ashina and Aquendavia, the kings of Aquendavia laid claim to the entire continent. Haccer was unwilling to fight a battle against Aquendavia, and let Aquendavia claim the land for its empire.
