Australis Confederacy
The Australis Confederacy, also known as the Australis Confederation, is a nation in Prsata. The Confederation boasts one of the largest territorial claims on the entire continent, spanning multiple thousands of chunks.
Founding
The Australis Confederacy is primarily made up of refugees from a server named Datblock. Due to their belief of the community growing more toxic, Southnsniper, then president of the Republic of Florida, and TeamTokes, President of the Ironwood Federation, ordered for their communities to pull out of the server. After some time on CCNET, Stoneworks, and other servers, they finally settled in Alathra.
History
The group, often called the "First Five", originally settled on the northwestern continent. Due to geopolitical tensions and an abundance of land in the south, the group made the 8,000 block voyage to Cape Bartow. The capital of Newer Polk was founded on June 13th, 2023.
The first days of the new town were tough. Constant massacres by mobs throughout the night meant that the disorganized populace went through a lot. Eventually, walls were built and the first builders created the Capital House in downtown Newer Polk.
Name dispute
The original name for the Confederation was to be the Confederate States of Alathra. The move was intended to be a peaceful one, as the group wanted to make a good use of the name. At the request of the mods however, the name was changed to Australis, latin for south.
Modern era
The Ironwood Estates were founded soon after Newer Polk got off the ground. Newer Polk began expanding inland, eventually amassing the largest claim in Prsata. Roads are being built to connect those territories, with the I-95 running from Newer Polk down to Ironwood.
Newer Polk has established a system of neighborhood farms, where each resident could purchase 2 plots in one purchase to build a horse and small farm. Newer Polk has also introduced the use of apartment complexes, engineered by yardog9.
The Confederation has quickly been noticed by its allies on the server, and with their defense industry growing, they are expected to play a vital role in geopolitics for years to come.
Government structure
Government of the Confederacy is based off the old republican-style governments that were present on Datblock. Notable figures include:
- southnsniper- The Caesar (latin for emperor) of the Confederation, who has complete authority over the Armed Forces, in addition to general leadership in other fields
- TeamTokes- The Prime Minister of the Confederation, who is responsible for leading the State Department through its negotiations
- _pyrovision_- The Chief Engineer at Newer Polk, responsible for building road infrastructure. (Replaced yardog9 on July 14th, after he was banned from the server)
Defense
Confederation Army
The Australis Confederacy Army takes inspiration from the United States Army, the British Army, and more. The army is built around specially designed legions based off of Roman Legions back in the Roman Empire days. Each legion contains 9 players, possibly hundreds of war dogs, multiple war elephants and other resources.

The Army also takes heavy inspiration from armed forces of other servers, such as Datblock's Florida National Guard, Datblock's Ironwood Defense Forces, CCNET's Ironwood Armed Forces, and Stonework's Portavel Security Forces.
The Confederation Navy currently possesses 4 warships:
- CSS Gator, combat destroyer
- CSS Titan, CLASSIFIED
- CSS Cortez, A cargo ship
- CSS Technoblade,
The Navy is set to construct two bases on each side of the nation to serve as a headquarters for 2 separate fleets, each to be equipped with 5 top of the line ships and a undisclosed amount of K-9's to act as Marines.
The next ship class is being based off the USS Constitution. The maiden ship, CSS Technoblade, was launched on July 31st, 2023, with construction of the CSS Minerva to begin soon.
The Maiden ship of the Fleet, the Ironwood, was transfered to the state department. Now the CSDS Ironwood, the ship now servers as a transport for state officials (similar to Air Force One used by the President of the United States)
Law Enforcement

While under the department of defense, the Australis Confederacy National Police serves a different role than it's sister services. These include:

Troopers of the Department wear the same military shield as their army counterparts, however they wear it with a thin blue line going horizontally across the banner, as to mark their status as law enforcement.
The National Police previously had a mounted patrol section in order to patrol the territory. On July 19th however, the roles of the Patrol force were absorbed by the Army, and the mounted section was disbanded the same day.
Culture
Agriculture and mining are the major contributors to the economy in the nation, with many citizens in Newer Polk having 2 plots dedicated to farming.
The Confederation is known for its close bond and welcoming attitudes. The oldest citizen has been following the community since 2021. The culture of the Australis resembles closely to that of the American state of Florida, also taking inspiration from regions such as the Southern United States, Central America and Oceania.
The Confederation is known for its horse racing, a tradition going back to Florida times. A dedicated racing league, based off of NASCAR, will open soon with dedicated racetracks all around the world.
Business
The majority of major businesses in Newer Polk are state-owned, since many other sales entities are not incorporated businesses.
Seminole Arms
The primary arms dealer of the confederacy, almost every ranged weapon in the National Army is from Seminole Arms.

Newer Polk Shipyards
Perhaps one of the biggest business in the Confederacy, the Newer Polk Shipyards is world-famous for introducing the design of a destroyer, a 4-cannon boat with 360* range. Some noted products include

- CSS Cortez (Confederacy Navy)
- Gator-class destroyer
- Crocodile-class destroyer
In July 2023, Newer Polk Shipyards was awarded a $2,100 contract from the nation of Elyras to build 3 Crocodile-destroyer ships. All 3 were completed in under 3 hours of work, and delivered to the Elyras Navy on July 23rd, 2023
The Shipyard is set to begin churning out the Constitution-class of warships. The class, based off the design of the USS Constitution of the U.S Navy, will be armed with multiple decks of cannons. The first of the class, CSS Technoblade, will have the most cannons in the fleet as a tribute to his pvp skill.

The following are some of the notable residents who have lived in the Confederacy.
- TeamTokes: The President of the Ironwood Federation on Datblock, a veteran of the Datblock war on terror. He currently serves as the Secretary of State and lives in Ironwood Estates
- Southnsniper: The praeses (latin for president) of the Confederacy. He also fought with Tokes in the Datblock War on Terror, and both can be attributed to reducing terrorism.
- Yardog9: The former builder for Newer Polk, Yardog was permanently banned from the server in July 2023. He was replaced by _pyrovision_
- rkn562: Known as the "Ace of Ironwood" on Datblock, rkn resides in Ironwood Estates. He currently serves in the Army.
- UnlockedBeast48: Known as "Apple-Sexual Unlocked" due to his strange infatuation with the fruit, he resides in Newer Polk. He is one of the oldest residents of the community.
