Early Life

Jharim Highmore was "born" into house Highmore of the Void city of Xaxkl Prime. Here he grew up, and met a friend, Bartholomew Aquis. Jharim trained both his mind and body constantly, which led to the development of Jharim's most important tools.

Research

Jharim's research within the void was truly groundbreaking for void civilizations. Listed below are some of his more important ones. Unfortunatley, much of Jharim's research has been lost, and the specifics are not known, even by Jharim himself, thanks to the Voidcrown accident.

Materials

Materials that Jharim has developed:

Silent Steel

Silent steel, a material known for its high toughness, strength, resistance to deformity, and ability to silence magic, is the crux of Jharim's research. One of the first things he discovered, silent steel made him a formidable opponent against the other children, who usually relied on magics. Silent steel operates off of the Order machination. The Order machination is a device within all silent steel contraptions that allows the silent steel to easily maintain its shape, and condition, all to maintain order. This includes a small sphere around the machines, where it will automatically break down most magics, as they are born of Chaos, the directly opposing force to Order.

Null Energy

Null Energy, otherwise known as A.H.A. (Antimatter-Hardlight Alloy) is a material used in most of Jharim's weapons. The antimatter drive constantly emitted by the Order machine is contained and solidified via an alloying process with hardlight. This allowed for the formation of blades and shields of the energy, that destroyed whatever they contacted, which could be launched, and was practically infinite, due to the extreme speed of antimatter production.

Weapons Projects

Jharim's Weapons projects, all of which survive today, in Alathra, unfortunately, most were damaged beyond the repair capabilities of the time period.

Null Blades

The Null Blades are the essential weapon of Jharim's kit. Constructed of null energy, they can quickly tear through any opponent due to the nature of antimatter. Constantly being regenerated, the null blade in its true, undamaged form is incredibly powerful, biting into armor, cracking, and releasing a torrent of antimatter, obliterating the body. Afterward, the blade is repaired with hardlight, to prevent the extremely volatile effects of antimatter.

Null Bolt

The Null Bolt is a ranged application of null energy. It is charged up, then release in a devastating blast of energy, however, it is once again damaged, and can only fire conventional ammunition, such as arrows.

The SAAMMVTS

Jharim has made only one, highly important innovation in armor. The SAAMMVTS. An acronym for Strength Amplifying, Anti-Magic, Multi-verse traveling suit. The suit has an onboard reactor, MVTD (Multi-Verse Travel Drive), and J-23 Jets. The suit allows for multiverse travel by directly allowing people breathe in off-world atmospheres by pumping require chemicals into the bloodstream; as well as facilitating travel to the place in question with portal technology. The suit also has near-infinite power, with the potential for *alternate* fuel sources. The suit is constructed out of silent steel, allowing for anti-magic effects to be present around the wearer. The suit also amplifies the user's strength to that of being able to level buildings in a single blow and allow for the transport of extremely high amounts of blocks. Unfortunately, the suit is wildly expensive to produce, and Jharim is wearing the only prototype in existence.

The Incident

The incident referred to here is the only successful test of the Voidcrown, in which it leveled a city. The consciousness in charge of the void, Fred, was so angered by the true deaths of millions of souls, that he ejected Jharim from the void, landing him in Alathra. This also means that he cannot return to the void, and even if he dies, he will simply wake up again in his bed. Unfortunately, most of Jharim's memories were lost upon his exit from the void, but he learns every day through the whispers sent through the Voidcrown, and his own suit's diagnostic readout.

The Xaxklian Imperium, founded in the mesas of Prsata, was a quickly growing empire, starting by absorbing the small town of Goldluck, and then building the mountain fortress of Castrum.
