'''Acquendavia''' was a nation state primarily located on the continent of [[Archive:Prospit|Prospit]]. It was the oldest non-continuous nation in Alathra. It was, well known for its imperialist tendencies and authoritarian ideology. It is the oldest non-continuous nation in [[Archive:Alathra|Alathra]].

Originally established on Novemberthe 19th, of November of the First Age (2020), Acquendavia was and is the first ever nation tostate formand civilization in the worldentirety of AlathraAlathran world history.

The nation of Acquendavia was founded based onupon the [[Archive:Virtue Rhetoric|philosophical teachings and philosophies]] of theits founder and sovereign Emperorleader [[Archive:Grandpa_boob|Grandpa_boob,]] and his most trusted advisor, [[Archive:Ripesack,|Ripesack]]. HisGrandpa_boob's philosophiesliterary dogma (a principle or set of principles laid down by an authority as incontrovertibly true.) praises that ''happiness is the highest'' ''virtue'', and ''achieving happiness should be the goal of every decision made''. The philosophy also teachesreflects thaton the only<u>fact</u> waythat man''the canonly becometrue completely happyhappiness is with power'', of which leads the Kingdom of Acquendavia to seekseeks more and more powerof, in the hopes of achieving ''absolute happiness''. ThisThese philosophicalphilosphies dogma isare present in every way throughout Acquendavia and itsAcquendavian citiesterritory, with the capital city of Lothridge housing the twin''Twin towersTowers ofOf philosophy,Philosophy;'' withtwo atowers toweratop ontwo top ofpeaks, one mountain, made of quartz and stone, representing power, and a tower made on top of the mountain opposite it,other representing Happiness. These towers symbolizerepresent the citizensAcquandavian ideals of Acquendaviaspower, ongoingand fight to achievethe happiness throughthat powercan ofbe allfound kindsin power.

Acquendavia was disbanded after Grandpa_boob forgotfailing to pay upkeep costs, making all its constituent towns becoming independent. Its capital, Lothridge, would later be conquered by the [[Archive:Ashina|Ashina Empire]].

On the 11th of July 11,of the Second Age (2021), Lothridge seceded from Ashina, and refounding Acquendavia. NeighbouringThe nation state of [[Archive:Fare-Sesso|Fare-Sesso]] was dissolved in favour of its town joining Acquendavia. Acquendavia would continue retaking Ashina's claims overthroughout the continentProspit, now claiming allmost landof Prospit, with the exception of [[Archive:Laputa|Laputa]] and [[Archive:Alathran Independent Press|Archivia.]], however Laputa would later become a client state of Acquendavia. ItAcquandavia led a campaign against the [[Archive:U.S.A|U.S.A]], winninggaining the warvictory with the aid of its allies from [[Archive:Elyria|Elyria]]. Following the war, Grandpa_boob was assassinated by [[Archive:llCharlesll|llCharlesll]] at his provincial victory procession in Laputa. Acquendavia would later participatedparticipate in the [[Archive:Great Alathran War|Great War]], fighting alongside Elyria once againmore.

In September of the Second Age (2021), several towns under ''de jure'' Acquendavian sovereigntyrule established the ''Prospit Organized Resistance Army'', leading toand the ever present [[Archive:Prospitian Revolution|Prospitian Revolution]]. The politicalrevolution consequenceswould ofhowever thenow Revolution also ledlead to thean Elyrian Civilcivil Warwar - this,THE combinedElyrian withCivil hesitancyWar. toWithout aidElyria, Acquendavia followingwould the Great War, meant that the kingdom hadhave to fight off the rebellion alone. Acquendavian forces were not ablefailed to quell the revolution, losingsuffering the loss of a decisive battle atnear Dalleton,. forcingThis thewould dualforce kingsGrandpa_boob toand relinquishRipesack's hand in relinquishing their claimclaims over the continent. On October 8the 8th, Grandpa_boob officially announced that Acquendavia would disband entirely, respecting the independence of all ofits itsformer constituencies.
