Drakedom of Drachenland
The Drakedom of Drachenland (Tiberian: Kajzerriche vaan Drekifolksriche) was a vast empire that reached from the Western coastline of Adelaa'r to the Deichtibier Peninsula.

Founding
Duchy of Tiberia
The government of the city-state of Dracheburc had ambitions to expand their territory as a full-fledged nation, and so began searching for ambitious and talented politicians and military commanders to found new cities for their empire. They found the ruins of two old towns near their city, a fortress and a port. In their searches for a town-leader, they found Tiberius Jakivus III, an influential politician and military commander from the Consulate of South Arkitus, also known as Jhai. They brought him to Adelaa'r and let him choose where he would like to start his city. He chose the port and formed the Duchy of New Jhai, later re-named Tiberia. At first, Tiberia was largely independent. It had its own government (a monarchy), laws (based on Jhai's legal code), militia/police (called the Ducal Armed Forces), and state religion (Purificationism), but relied on Dracheburc for defense and economic support. In exchange, Tiberia would give its high amount of Blessed Opals to Dracheburc.
Eventually, the ties between Tiberia and Dracheburc became so great that they agreed to unify and form the Drakedom.
Expansion
Eventually, the Drakedom funded expeditions to form new towns, though Dracheburc and Tiberia remained the largest and most influential parts of the nation. The nation soon adopted a strange mix of federalism, feudalism, classism, and absolute monarchy. These new towns were largely Purificationist, though were still very small, with only a couple people per village.
Government and Military
The High Council
The High Council was originally an advisory body in Dracheburc. After the formation of Drachenland, the High Council remained. It was made up of representatives from all over the Drakedom, however, only ethnic Drekifolk could be on the council. This meant that each regional government in the nation has to draw in Drekifolk and appoint them to representative positions in the Council, which led to an odd situation where the Drekifolk had supreme control over the federal government, but little or no control over regional governments. This meant that while Purificationism was allowed and remained a strong religious and cultural minority, there was always an air of disdain and competition between the Drekifolk and Purificationists, with both sides feeling that the other was persecuting them.
Duchies
Each city was run by a Duke, who had the full authority to enact new laws and form regional militias and police forces. There were talks of changing the title of the Dukes to "Drake", and the Drake of Dracheburc becoming the "Grand Drake", but this never panned out.
Military
The nation's ground army was a loose confederation of the militias and defense forces from the different regions, leading to a feeling of there being no real army. However, the navy was much more united, with a massive fleet stationed in Dracheburc (this navy currently operates as a fleet of the Commonwealth of Adelaar's naval forces). Due to his naval experience, Tiberius Jakivus was made Commander of the navy's flagship, a massive, heavily-armed war cruiser. However, he never had the chance to lead his navy, as he went missing before any sort of war could break out.
Today
After the Fall of Tiberia, the nation was weakened. This allowed the rapidly-growing Kingdom of Adelaar to invade and conquer Dracheburc, with the Kingdom's forces executing the Drake. The other parts of the nation simply fell, but were soon claimed as territory of the Empire of Styvaria, with Tiberia becoming Briarthorn Harbour. Recently, the Kingdom of Adelaar and the Empire of Styvaria (as well as the Empire of Dahlfaustn) united as the Commonwealth of Adelaar. Strangely enough, this means that the House of Tiberia is once again united with the Drachen nobility.
