The nation of Acquendavia was founded based on the [[Virtue Rhetoric|philosophical teachings]] of the Emperor Grandpa_Boob and his most trusted advisor, Ripesack, His philosophies dogma(a principle or set of principles laid down by an authority as incontrovertibly true.) praises that happiness is the highest virtue, and achieving happiness should be the goal of every decision made. The philosophy also teaches that the only way man can become completely happy is with power which leads the Kingdom of Acquendavia to seek more and more power, in hopes of achieving absolute happiness. This philosophical dogma is present in every way throughout Acquendavia and its cities, with the capital city of Lothridge housing the twin towers of philosophy, with a tower on top of one mountain, made of quartz and stone, representing power, and a tower made on top of the mountain opposite it, representing Happiness. These towers symbolize the citizens of Acquendavias ongoing fight to achieve happiness through power of all kinds.
